| I have been taking photographs as an enthusiastic amateur for more years than I care to remember. A couple of years ago however, I decided to start taking it all a bit more seriously and invested in some better equipment to let me move my hobby to the next level. Since then I have taking photographs of all sorts of subjects whenever I get the opportunity. My favourite subjects though are live music events, nature and landscapes, with a bit of technology (especially aviation), travel, sport and even the odd wedding thrown in for good measure.I was really pleased when Nina Nesbitt asked to use one of my photos for her tour posters and merchandise recently – that inspired me to make an extra effort to publish my work.The important thing for me is the image and how to bring out of it what I see and feel when I am there. The technology is necessary to capture what I see, but it is a tool to produce the results I want.I have put together a portfolio of some of my favourite photographs from the past few years here – I hope you like them.
